Summary
  • As a new semester begins, Takashi Komuro, Rei Miyamoto, Hisashi Igō, Saya Takagi, Kohta Hirano, Saeko Busujima, Suzuka Marikawa, and Kōichi Shidō are caught up in a zombie attack at their high school. As Hisashi, Rei, and Takashi flee to the roof, Hisashi is bitten by a zombie, resulting in Takashi being forced to kill Hisashi to protect himself and Rei. Rei contacts her father via Takashi's cellphone, getting informed that the city is panicking before the call cuts out. Meanwhile, Saeko rescues Suzuka, while Kohta assembles a jury-rigged nailgun. The survivors fight their way to the school parking lot, where they commandeer a bus, picking up other survivors along the way, against Rei's wishes in the case of Kōichi Shidō.
