It took place at the Autodromo Carlos Pace on October 21 2007. The race was won by Scuderia Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen with Felipe Massa for Scuderia Ferrari in second and Fernando Alonso of McLaren-Mercedes in third. With this, Räikkönen won the Driver's title for the first time and Ferrari won its first Constructor's championship since 2004. Räikkönen was the first Finnish world champion since Mika Häkkinen in 1999 and the third overall.
