Smith, Norma Lee, Michael Moore, Chris McBee, Caryl Codon-Tharp, Faith Vecchio, Rebecca De Morrio, and Joan Phillips Solomon previously received Emmy Award nominations in the category Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series for his work on the drama series Dynasty in 1986, 1987, and 1988. He shared all three nominations with Cherie Huffman and the first with Linda Leiter Sharp.
