The brand was revived in 2007 when Interactive Game Group acquired it from Atari Interactive, formerly Infogrames. The MicroProse brand was licensed to the Legacy Engineering Group for consumer electronics. As of 2010, the MicroProse brand is currently owned by Cybergun Group. As of 2013 Microprose is an Executive Producer Company of video games, partnering with Development studios to create and exploit games for a variety of platforms. Microprose is now increasing its focus on online and wireless platforms. As part of the Cybergun Group, leader in airsoft guns products, Microprose has access to officially licensed weapons which makes its positioning unique in this market segment. (microprose.com)

Nachdem MicroProse 1993 von einem anderen Spieleentwickler Spectrum HoloByte aufgekauft wurde, entwickelte man unter dem Dach von MicroProse und einer Star-Trek-Linzenz folgende Spiele: * Star Trek: The Next Generation – A Final Unity - 1995 - MS-DOS * Star Trek: Generations - 1997 - Windows 95 * Star Trek: The Next Generation – Klingon Honor Guard - 1998 - Windows 95/98 * Star Trek: The Next Generation – Birth of the Federation - 1999 - Windows Nachdem MicroPose 1998 von Hasbro Interactive und jene 2001 von Infogrames gekauft wurden, ist 2003 das letzte Entwicklungsstudio der ehemaligen MicroProse geschlossen worden.
