- Dark Ore is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. It is an extremely rare and valuable substance that melts when exposed to light. However, as with all freight, if Link's train is hit by an enemy, he loses some cargo. Linebeck III expresses a desire to have Dark Ore, due to its value. Dark Ore can be bought from the Dark Ore Mine and taken to Linebeck III in exchange for a Force Gem. However, because the Dark Ore melts in the light, it must be delivered quickly. By taking alternate routes through dark caves, Dark Ore can be made to last longer as it is not exposed to light.

abstract | - Dark Ore is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. It is an extremely rare and valuable substance that melts when exposed to light. By taking alternate routes through dark caves, Dark Ore can be made to last longer as it is not exposed to light. Ten Dark Ore can be purchased for the price of 200 Rupees. Linebeck III wants at least five pieces, which requires quite an effort to achieve, considering that it has to be transported from the Fire Realm to the Forest Realm, which are in opposite corners of New Hyrule. Space-time Gates must be used to reach the destination without the ore completely melting, but there is still a large gap between the gates.
