  • Anthony Ha (born January 6, 1983) is an American journalist (currently writing for the venture capital blog VentureBeat) and science fiction writer. While studying at Stanford University (from which he graduated in 2006 with a degree in International Relations), he won the Dell Magazine Award for undergraduate science fiction writing in 2005 and 2006, the only entrant in the history of the contest to receive top honors twice. Before getting hired to VentureBeat in 2008, Ha worked as a local government reporter for the Hollister Free Lance and managing editor of news at the Stanford Daily. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he currently lives in San Francisco with the aid of a caretaker.
