  • Fo Hachesa was a Kobliad male serving in Starfleet in the late 24th century. By 2381 Hachesa had attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander and served aboard the USS Titan as the gamma shift officer of the watch. He was on duty when the Titan detected a high power sensor beam emanate from the source of the energy bursts the vessel was monitoring; suspecting it to be a Borg early warning system, he had Rriarr raise shields; a broad-spectrum feedback loop collapsed their warp bubble and caused main power and warp drive to go offline. (ST - Destiny novels: Gods of Night, Mere Mortals) After the Titan sent an away team down to New Erigol aboard the shuttlecraft Mance, Hachesa became the acting first officer in the absence of Christine Vale or Tuvok. During this time, Hachesa tracked the repairs to the sensors following their burnout effects caused by the Caeliar. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals) While in orbit of the planet, former Earth Starfleet Captain Erika Hernandez escaped the clutches of the Caeliar on New Erigol and promised to aid the Titan in departing as well. After Hernandez adjusted their shielding to protect them, she asked Hachesa to point out which console controlled their onboard systems; the Kobliad silently pointed her towards the operations console. Erika allowed Captain Riker to give the word to depart, and as he did so, Riker led Hachesa back to the command chairs as they traversed the subspace tunnel to the Azure Nebula. After arriving on the far side, Riker left the Bridge; Hachesa later contacted him when the USS Aventine and USS Enterprise-E approached for rendezvous. The Aventine and Enterprise briefed the Titan staff on the Borg's invasion, although the three vessels were not in a position to be of immediate assistance to the various battles occurring in Federation space. As the ships planned their next moves, Hachesa remained in command of the Bridge, opting to not display the core system battles on the forward viewer, despite the suggestion from T'Kel, as he felt it would "jinx" their chances. Captain Riker later entered the Bridge and overruled him, feeling it was more important to witness the sacrifices of their fellow officers and crews. After Axion joined the Starfleet ships at the Azure Nebula, Hachesa coordinated the return of the Mance from the city-ship, confirming its final approach to the Titan. Once they were aboard, he reported to Riker the return of the shuttlecraft and all away team personnel safe and accounted for, including Riker's wife, Deanna Troi. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls) After the Borg crisis, Hachesa transferred off of the Titan. (TTN novel: Over a Torrent Sea)
