  • Andy Winfree (May 21, 1929 - May 5, 1994) was a NASCAR driver from Greensboro, NC. He competed in ten Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning four top-tens. Winfree's debut came in 1953, when the driver finished 23rd in points. He had good reason to finish so high - he simply ran well. He was 17th in his debut at Raleigh and then 26th at Langhorne. But he ran in the top-nineteen in every race after that, recording a career-best 7th place finish at Norfolk and then a pair of 10th place finishes at Macon and at High Point.
