  • The Regeneration is one of the default for Medic agents. Activating the device begins a heal-over-time buff on the Medic, acting much like the R.E.S.T. device. However, rather than slowing the Medic, Regeneration reduces the damage dealt by the Medic by 25% for the 15s the heal-over-time is active ( time is increased when the Regeneration has T on the device and healing is increased when the device haves an H on it ). The only danger is that The Regeneration can be Neutralized by an other Medic using a Neutralize Wave. Some specific varients of the Regeneration is available for purchase from Dome City's Medic Gear vendor for 1000 credits or 1000 tokens ( Uncommon ) 2000 tokens ( Rare )and 5000 tokens ( Epic ). Uncommon, rare, and other epic varients are occasionally awarded upon successful completion of PvE and PvP missions each having differend stats..
  • Regeneration is the spiritual transformation in a person, brought about by the Holy Spirit, that brings the individual from being spiritually dead to become a spiritually alive human being. Regeneration is another way of speaking about the new birth or the second birth or being born again. This subjective change worked in one's soul by the grace of God is variously designated in Scripture as a new birth, a resurrection, a new life, a new creature, a renewing of the mind, a dying to sin and living to righteousness, a translation from darkness to light, etc. In theological language, it is called regeneration, renovation, and conversion. These terms are often used interchangeably. According to Hodge's Systematic Theology, the word regeneration is used almost universally to refer to the instantaneous change from spiritual death to spiritual life. He says it is not used to designate "the whole work of sanctification, nor the first stages of that work comprehended in conversion, much less justification or any mere external change of state." In calling it a spiritual resurrection—the beginning of a new life, Hodge adds, "Sometimes the word expresses the act of God. God regenerates. Sometimes it designates the subjective effect of his act" (emphasis added).

  • Slayers could recover from even very severe injuries in remarkably short periods of time. Usually, Buffy was completely healed within 24 hours of being injured, though more serious injuries took at least a few days; Buffy suffered from a severe stab wound to the belly that required at least a few days to heal, and, according to Vi, was heavily bruised for several days after her second encounter with the Turok-Han. Also, Slayers could receive scars; Buffy had a scar left from The Master's bite on her neck, with Angel and Dracula biting her in the exact same spot.
  • During combat, whenever the Regenerating unit is injured, it will regain exactly File:Icon Hits.png at the end of each turn. File:Icon MultiFigureUnit.png may even recover lost File:Icon Figure.png as a result of this automatic healing. If the Regenerating unit survives a battle, it is then completely healed of all damage. File:Icon MultiFigureUnit.png will regain all lost File:Icon Figure.png as a result. Finally, if the Regenerating unit is destroyed during battle, but its army manages to win that battle, the unit is automatically restored to life - and fully healed as described above! Exactly 9 units in the game possess Regeneration by default. 6 of these are Normal Units from the Troll race, while the other 3 are Fantastic Units. It is possible to give Regeneration to any unit, by casting the Regeneration Unit Enchantment on it. Furthermore, Heroes may be equipped with Magical Items possessing a Regeneration Item Power.
  • Regeneration (also known as healing factor) is a term given when a particular character can heal from wounds at an accelerated rate, even regenerating from wounds that would be lethal to normal humans. Regeneration has different levels. Low levels of regeneration are essentially just faster natural healing, so a wound that could take weeks to heal would take days, hours, or even seconds. More advanced forms of regeneration can regrow lost limbs, organs, going all the way up to regenerating from decapitation, being blown to pieces or vaporized, and even complete physical destruction.

  • This power allows a Jedi to grow back lost extremities. It is a healing power much like Accelerate Healing, though it takes much longer for the effect to be fully realized. Digits like fingers and toes can be re-grown in a matter of two or three weeks. A hand can take a month to two months. An arm can take half a year. A leg a full year or more.
  • Creatures with this extraordinary ability recover from wounds quickly and can even regrow or reattach severed body parts. Damage dealt to the creature is treated as nonlethal damage, and the creature automatically cures itself of nonlethal damage at a fixed rate. Certain attack forms, typically fire and acid, deal damage to the creature normally; that sort of damage doesn’t convert to nonlethal damage and so doesn’t go away. The creature’s description includes the details. Creatures with regeneration can regrow lost portions of their bodies and can reattach severed limbs or body parts. Severed parts die if they are not reattached. Regeneration does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. Attack forms that don’t deal hit point damage ignore regeneration. An attack that can cause instant death only threatens the creature with death if it is delivered by weapons that deal it lethal damage.
  • Gallifreyan's have a Triple Helix DNA, comprising of 69 chromosomes divided into 23 homogeneous triads. Humans, by comparison, only have 46 chromosomes divided among 22 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes. The extra third strand of Gallifreyan DNA was added by Rassilon to make Regeneration possible, and was created to extend the already amazing Gallifreyan lifespan. This strand stores the regenerative information within a Gallifreyan's Bioplasmic Field that surrounds their bodies. During regeneration this information is conveyed to permanently carried self-replicated biogenic molecules, which permeate a Time Lord body, via a bio-language called Nucleolingua Symbiotica.

In Quake Live, Regeneration has the same benefits just like the series' 3rd and 4th games.

Inkarnation.

Note: not all items with this type of effect were converted to blue stats, the few things that had a regen effect part of a bigger effect were not converted. See for items with this effect. This can also be shortened to "regen" and refer to the numerical value representing how fast your character regains health or power (in-combat or out-of-combat regen numbers both exist, and are viewable on the Stats tab of your Character page).
  • Regeneration is a support ability that grants the user the ability to heal themself. It can heal a broken bone of its user in mere seconds.
  • Regeneration is a certain ability which may be conferred on the PC by certain items. It will not be revealed if the PC drinks a potion of insight or casts Revelation spell and thus is not considered an intrinsic. Each correctly equipped item that confers regeneration will restore 1 HP each turn. This effect is completely independent from other healing sources and will stack with them — for example, if natural regeneration activates on turn N and the PC has an item conferring regeneration equipped, (s)he will restore 2 HP on this turn. Moreover, regeneration sources stack with each other, meaning that if the PC has two corresponding items equipped (s)he will restore 2 HP each turn (again, independently of other healing factors). The following list contains all available items conferring regeneration: * Head: crown of regeneration * Amulet: Preserver * Girdle: True Strength or Celestrix * Right and Left Hand: Knife of endurance * Right and Left Ring: Ring of regeneration * Bracers: Bracers of war or bracers of regeneration * Missile: Any regenerating item due to a bug. While a stack of items (typically rings) can be worn in this slot, the effect will be provided only once. No longer available as of version 1.2.0 of the game. With this setup in mind, it is possible to achieve a regeneration rate ot 9 HP (8 HP for version 1.2.0 and later) per turn. The actual strategical value of regeneration abilities are quite significant. It allows non-stop fighting if the PC is engaging monsters which deal little damage or rarely miss. Regeneration will not be of much help if the PC is receiving huge amounts of damage in a short time, but will quickly restore hit points during a retreat or while the monster is disabled (using webs, confusion, slowing, etc.). Regeneration can also suppress continuous damage sources, such as poisoning, drowning, background damage in the Tower of Eternal Flames or Air Temple or skin burns from iron items for Mist elves. It will, however, not be much of use against sickness.
  • Regeneration in video games refers to the gradual recovery of health, absent other healing items or abilities. Until Battlefield 1943, a player's health could only be restored by medkits (or by defibrillator if killed).

Units with regeneration ability slowly heal their own HP without the need of a healer, making them valuable in pitched battles and often essential in campaign scenarios where the player cannot build a base and train units, but has to fight their way through with a starting army.

  • A player regenerates by clicking the regenerate button(or typing '/rest') under his health, blood, and experience bars. • Regeneration is a property that speeds the recovery of HP drastically; your character gains 1 HP on every turn (s)he would not normally do so. It is acquired as an extrinsic through putting on a ring of regeneration or wielding the Healer's quest artifact, the Staff of Aesculapius. It can only be acquired as an intrinsic by eating a ring of regeneration if the ring is of suitable material and you are polymorphed in to a monster that can eat it. The downside to having faster regeneration however, is if the property is from a ring, either eaten or worn, you lose an additional point of nutrition every other turn. More details on the effect of regeneration on hp recovery can be found at Hit point regeneration. Also, some monsters have regeneration, e. g. vampires and vampire lords, werecreatures, all trolls, all liches, archons, and the Wizard of Yendor.
  • Regeneration is a Blue Mage spell that is learned from Sea Monks. It restores 300 HP slowly over 90 seconds at a rate of 10 HP per tick. This spell costs 2 Blue Magic Points to set and grants a MND+2 stat bonus when set.

  • Regenerate is a recurring benefitial status effect that restores a certain amount of HP of those affected at a set interval. Characters affected by the status gradually gain HP (as long as their current HP are below their MaxHP) while the status lasts. The amount of HP recovered can be either a fixed amount, a percentage or calculated from the stats of the character affected, as well as the caster. The interval is usually one turn (or its equivalent in RTS engines; usually a character's ACT phase). The effect is reversed on undead targets, on which it acts similar to poison, gradually reducing their HP. Non-organic targets are usually resistent to Regeneration. The basic spell applying the status is of the same name. Being curative as well as a positive status effect, it belongs to the categories of White Magic and Green Magic, hence requiring a character to master both of these classes to a certain degree in order to access the spell. Like all multiclass spells, it can also be learned and used as Blue Magic.
