In 1984, he decided to move into music production and worked for his wife's record company where he discovered other singers and successfully produced artists such as Pugh Rogefeldt and Magnus Uggla. In 1985, he organized a concert for ANC featuring several Swedish artists. Throughout the 1980s, his albums continued to reach the Top 20 of the Swedish charts. In 1990, he released a compilation and a new album, "Tillfälligheternas spel", and since then has been one of the best selling artists in his homeland. His most recent album was released in October 2013, becoming his fifth number one album.
