Australia's withdrawal from the war was a decision made heavily after; they felt that Australia's presence in the war was unnecessary, and with drew after the 30th Australian death after they gained Independence. Despite that the diplomatic relations between Italy and Australia remained strong, and a summit between the Alan Thatcher's predecessor, the Italian President, and Russian President secured their relations, and even strengthened them.
