Estos anillos los fabricó su tío Andrew y engañó a Polly para que se pusiera uno. Como vio que Polly desapareció, a él no le queda más remedio que coger uno. Los anillos llevan al "Bosque entre los mundos". En ese bosque hay estanques que llevan a otros mundos. Los niños van a uno que se llama Charn donde no hay nadie. Digory toca una campana, haciendo despertar a una Bruja. Luego, la bruja los obliga a llevarlos a su mundo y se comporta con el tío Andrew igual que si fuera un esclavo. Roba las joyas y la comida de la ciudad y estaba a punto de tomar la ciudad cuando Digory la lleva de nuevo al "Bosque entre los mundos". Luego van a un mundo vacío por error. También fueron (por error) un caballo, un cochero y el tío Andrew. Después aparece Aslan cantando y creó Narnia, y las dríades, las náyades y los animales parlantes y no parlantes. La bruja le intenta dar con un farol que trajo de nuestro mundo, pero se cayó y se convirtió en un nuevo farol (es el que aparece en el primer libro). También crea árboles y ríos. Luego Aslan hace que el caballo de nuestro mundo sea alado. aslan le dice a Digory que tiene que ir hasta un manzano mágico y coger una manzana indicandole donde se encontraba este mismo. Cuando llega, la bruja intenta que el niño se coma una, pero él sabe que no lo debe hacer. Le lleva la manzana a Aslan y arroja la manza a un charco cercano al rio, de este crece un arbol que brindara proteccion a narnia, luego de esto coge una manzana de aquel arbol para ofrecersela a su madre que estaba enferma. Aslan hace que vaya a Narnia la esposa del cochero y los convierte en los primeros reyes de Narnia. Digory y Polly vuelven a nuestro mundo y la madre de Digory se cura gracias a la manzana. cuando la manzana se acaba el coge las semillas y las planta en su jardin trasero, años mas tarde el arbol que crecio de aquellas semillas se ve abatido por una tormenta, de esta madera esta fabricado el ropero del primero libro Cuando Digory crece, se convierte en el Profesor Kirke (dueño de la mansión a la que los niños pevensie viajan en el libro de el leon la bruja y el ropero)
