In live-action, Nilson has starred in the films Falling Angels and What Goes Up, the made-for-TV movie Four Extraordinary Women, and the television series renegadepress.com, and she has had guest roles in Supernatural and Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. Nilson also has a limited background in theater and dance, and she is currently a yoga/meditation instructor for the Vancouver non-profit organization Project True.
