- Crystal Orbs were magical items that could be found in Halruaa.
- Crystal Orb is a Relic that provides +50% Max MP. It can be stolen from Magic Master and Ultima Buster, dropped from Gold Dragon, or by betting the Muscle Belt in the Dragon's Neck Coliseum. It can be equipped by everyone.
- A crystal orb can be made from a crystal weapon seed in two ways:
* Paying either Eluned/Islwyn in the Ithell Clan district or Rhodri Dail in the Max Guild a scaling amount of coins
* With 75 Smithing, using 375 harmonic dust to make one at the crystal singing bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas (giving 375 Smithing experience) A crystal orb (with 50% charge) may also be received upon completion of the elite Tirannwn Tasks.
- It can be created by taking an uncharged crystal weapon seed to Eluned in the Ithell Clan district and paying a fee (which seemingly varies similarly to Ilfeen's recharge price scale) of 200,000 to 1,000,000 coins. Alternately, if you have 75 Smithing, you can make the orb yourself with Crystal Singing, at the crystal bowl in the Ithell Clan district of Prifddinas. This requires a crystal weapon seed and 375 harmonic dust, and gives 375 Smithing experience. Dilwyn can be seen wielding one of these. It has the same stats as Ahrim's book of magic.

The amount of coins needed to create (and repair) is based on the number of times a crystal weapon/armour seed has been made into an item for coins - the cost is shared over all crystal weapons and shields. The first time costs , and each subsequent creation costs 200,000 less until the fifth time (and every time thereafter), when it costs . The crystal orb will revert to seed after 50,000 charges of combat, but uses two charges per hit except while within Prifddinas, where it uses one charge per hit. A partially degraded orb can be recharged for a fraction of your current creation cost - if it has 90% charges remaining, and the lowest creation price has been achieved, it would cost 20,000 coins to repair.
