| abstract | - Jessica Mary "Jessie" Weasley (née Bell) (8 January 1981) was a half-blood wizard of Greek, British and Canadian First Nations ancestry. She is the youngest child of Shaun and Veronica Bell (née Macdonald) and younger sister of Katie Bell. Jessie attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1992 to 1999 and was Sorted into Gryffindor, the same house as her sister. While attending Hogwarts, Jessie became best friends with fellow Gryffindor Ginny Weasley, and through her became quite close with the rest of the Weasley family, where she developed a crush on one of the Weasley twins, George Weasley in particular; Jessie is one of the only people that can distinguish between the two twins. Jessie was a member of Harry's Court and actively aided Harry in his quest ot unite the school. Although a sweet and kind girl with a non-threatening appearance thanks to her short stature, Jessie was one of the top Defence students in her year because of Ginny's help in DADA classes and has been the reason several boys ended up in the hospital wing for trying to take advantage of her. During her final year at Hogwarts, Jessie and George began a relationship after she finally got George to agree to go out with her. After graduation, Jessie married George and the two built a house in Ottery St. Catchpole next to Fred Weasley and Lee Jordan's houses. In 2001, Jessie gave birth to twin daughters; Frederica Katie "Freddie" Weasley, who was named after her brother-in-law Fred and sister Katie, and Veronica Ginny "Ronnie" Weasley, named after her mother Veronica and sister-in-law and best friend Ginny.
