  • In Christian demonology (Late Medieval- Early Modern European), Haborym (also spelled Aim, Aym) is a demon with the rank of Great Duke of Hell, commanding 26 legions of demons. He often appears as a 3-headed man with one head being that of a serpent, one of a man, who by some accounts has 2 stars on his forehead, and one of a cat (or a calf), riding a viper and carrying a firebrand. If commanded to by his conjurer, he will use his firebrand to set things on fire, such as cities, castles, or places considered great. He can make his conjurer witty and is notably honest when giving answers to private matters. Haborym is 1 of 69 demons listed in the Pseudomonarchia Dæmonum and 1 of 72 listed in the Ars Goetia (the first section of the Lesser Key of Solomon).
