| abstract | - The Office of Personnel was an administrative department of the Grayson Space Navy. Being the equivalent of the Royal Manticoran Navy's Bureau of Personnel, the Office of Personnel was responsible for the manpower policy of the Grayson Navy, as well as assigning and transferring personnel in accordance with the Navy's requirements and deployments. In 1911 PD, the Office of Personnel assigned Captain Thomas Greentree, then commanding officer of the heavy cruiser GNS Jason Alvarez, as flag captain of Cruiser Squadron 18, under the command of Commodore Honor Harrington. At that time, Commodore Justin Ackroyd headed the Office of Personnel. (HH7)
