  • Blaze the Cat stands on a hill overlooking a building. She is acutely aware of being watched by figures who cannot be seen or heard by anyone else. Managing to pull one of these figures into corporeality, Blaze surprises them by proving she can not only perceive them and the other figures, but also the building itself. It would seem her mystery followers and the building are not perceptible to those without a certain degree of magical skill. Blaze tells the individual she brought into perception that she is well aware she has been followed and understands her abilities are being tested, but she doesn't understand the purpose. Revealing himself to be a member of the Order of Magick, her watcher pits his skills against Blaze's in a magical duel and comes off very much the worse for it. Uncovering a Warp of Confusion, Blaze and the magician continue their fight with Blaze's skills being showcased. Suddenly, the leader of the Order of Magick makes his presence aware. He tells Blaze he has many questions regarding her existence- the Order cannot determine how she even came to be and her powers extend past any scale they have. For the first time in a long while, Blaze is frightened...
