| abstract | - Marty McBride Conlon (born January 19 1968 in The Bronx, New York) is a former professional Basketball player whose career in the National Basketball Association lasted from 1992 through 2000. Conlon started his basketball career at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, NY. His earliest fame came when he played on the Providence College team that went to the Final Four. Conlon played for the Seattle SuperSonics, the Sacramento Kings, the Charlotte Hornets, the Washington Bullets, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat, and the Los Angeles Clippers. The height of both his career and fame came in Milwaukee. His true talent, however, was rebounding. After a long career, he signed his last contract with the Clippers and was asked to leave, due to his age, after three games. After his NBA career came to an end he continued to play basketball professionally in Europe, where he was the captain of the Irish National Team. He currently works for the NBA conducting training camps and lives in New York City.
