The Bastard younger sister of RationalWiki! The purpose of this project is to work out a cohesive and internally consistent set of rules—a RationalWiki Constitution, if you will—for running RationalWiki, and to codify what rules we do have in a self-consistent manner. Goat help us... The stated purpose of this project is to create a set of rules that those of us (who care about such things) can agree on. Do not come here to continue asserting that we do not need any rules. By partaking in discussion on these pages, you are either (a) implicitly agreeing that some rules are needed on RationalWiki (you are free to disagree on with how many, for what purpose, and to what degree) or (b) do not believe any rules are needed , but are at least "keeping us honest" through constructive criticism. Those who attempt to disrupt the process will have their posts removed. We are here to get things done, not bicker. Note: Please remember that we are sharing a space with many other mini-wikis, so any page you try to create may already exist, and be a part of whatever project group created it. If that is the case, we suggest you go with a different name that suggests it is associated with our specific project. For example, instead of creating a page called "Goals" (which already exists, but as part of a different project), create a page called Convention goals. Also, insert {{rwcon}} at the top of any page associated with this project (including your user and talk pages). It is the best method of tracking the project's pages, and it adds an invaluable navigation box in the corner.
