rdfs:comment | - Kal-ap-ton was a Vulcan god. One of the most dangerous voices of "The Inner Chorus", Kal-ap-ton was the personification of grief. Depicted as a tall, gaunt, and pale young man in mourning clothes, Kal-ap-ton was never shown in public, only in places of mourning. Kal-ap-ton carried a small pouch, filled with tears, wherever he went. Temples to Kal-ap-ton (where the dead were laid to rest) were the only appropriate places for Vulcans to cry.

abstract | - Kal-ap-ton was a Vulcan god. One of the most dangerous voices of "The Inner Chorus", Kal-ap-ton was the personification of grief. Kal-ap-ton carried a small pouch, filled with tears, wherever he went. Temples to Kal-ap-ton (where the dead were laid to rest) were the only appropriate places for Vulcans to cry. While most Vulcans understood that grief is an illogical emotion (for all Vulcan shall meet again one day in the afterlife), they did recognize that it is a logical and essential part of life. In order for a soul to remain healthy, it must say goodbye. However, when that grief was carried out into the world, that was when Tyr-al-tep took control.
