  • Tayler Malsam is an American race car driver who drives the #56 Talking Rain/actiVwater Toyota Tundra for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. NASCAR career Tayler made his NASCAR debut at the O'Reilly 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway after driving several ARCA races and also some USAC at that time finished in 36th. He would later make another start at Homestead-Miami Speedway for Bill Davis Racing at that time and finished 21st. In 2009, he is contending for the Raybestos Rookie of the Year and as of now, he has seven top ten finishes with a best finish of 6th at Michigan International Speedway. Malsam came close of winning at Kentucky Speedway but spun out with just a few laps to go, thus ending up in 13th. He had his worst finish of the season at Bristol finishing 31st after being in crash with Todd Bodine early in the race. Again he was in an inccident at the following race at Chicagoland Speedway. Malsam would bounce back and finish in 10th at Iowa Speedway. The following week at Gateway International Speedway, Malsam scored his first top 5 finish with 5th place effort. Since then, he has struggled to have finished in the top 10, including a wreck at Talladega Superspeedway and Phoenix International Raceway, he also lost the lead for Rookie of the Year to Johnny Sauter and finished in second in that battle.
