Tre and Furious finally come into contact, father and son, when Tre gets into a nasty fight with a boy who mocks him and his father in school, in the beginning of the movie. They fight like crazy. And the mother finally puts her foot down and says that Tre has to live with his father, to impart discipline in him. He saves the house from a robbery in one scene, but shooting to scare the robber away. It works. Seven years later, Tre is doing well for himself. He stays out of trouble. He gets good grades. But the biggest challenge to Furious's fatherhood is when Tre's friend Ricky gets shot. Here is where the tough part of being a good father comes in. He tries to convice Tre, albeit in a rather nasty and profane way, to turn in the gun to Furious, that's he gonna use to kill Ferris, telling him that he's going down a road of distruction he does this. The tough part has the viewers wondering, but good prevails, and Tre has no part in the bloodshed of Ferris. Overall, Furious was successful, in the end, it's revealed Tre went to study in Atlanta, Georgia.
