  • The Dispersals were events were large groups of people suddenly had to leave their homelands, mentioned in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright. When the remains of Diligence's caravan arrived at the nameless village near the Unseen Wall, Diligence asked the tavernmaster about an ancient-looking portrait hanging on a wall. He explained that it depicted Amonwelle, their Great Lady, and had been painted more than 2000 years ago, around the days of the First Dispersal. Some weeks before this, when Hitch was sitting in the dining hall of Paddifraw's Repose, the hooded figure explained to him that the ramble house had been constructed after Paddifraw's ancestors had to leave their native soil during the Second Dispersal. They thought it was one of the more successful adaptions of the families forced to flee.
