During the rule of Galactic Emperor Palpatine's New Order, Rempor worked in the Imperial shipyards of Bilbringi, overseeing a resources dock in low orbit of the planet. He remained in this position from 14 BBY to 9 BBY, when he was reassigned to the Mid Rim world Ansion to control ore shipping from a newly opened mining facility. However, a fatal accident caused by him in 7 BBY thwarted further promotion and Rempor was imprisoned on Ansion with a term of twelve years.
