HistoryText	The eponymous hero of the series Hap Hazzard is a lovable loafer somewhat similar in circumstances and demeanour to Peter Milligan's Swifty, who lives on "a small planet in a downwardly mobile area of the galaxy" called Fred's Planet. . Hap is permanently skint and spends his time hanging out with dodgy characters such as the oft-mentioned but never seen 'Joey the Neck' in an attempt to earn some creds. Lurching from crisis to crisis but somehow managing to avoid death or serious injury, he is assisted by his good friend Tricky and his long-suffering girlfriend Sharon.
