In 5312 a disease broke out from Yasefe and Shemef was one of those preparing to flee, but was ordered to the palace by Me'emen who inquired him about the plague, and if he knew that the Healers cured the previous plague. Shemef replied that he knew about that Plague and was the very reason he had to flee. Me'emen was disappointed by his answer and wished to never see him again. After he cure of the plague, Shemef, along with Anem and Raman, were restricted from the Guild and forbidden to enter it, the palace, or any of the royal dwellings and structures.
