  • Hundredth Smurf (character)
rdfs:comment
  • A clone of Vanity Smurf, simply referred to as Hundredth Smurf (original French name Centième Schtroumpf) came about when he was polishing a new mirror in the forest in "The Hundredth Smurf" when it started raining with thunder and lightning. Then lightning struck the mirror while Vanity was holding it, and it caused a reflection of himself to emerge from the mirror, which originally did everything that was the opposite of what Vanity did (at least as far as being a mirror duplicate of Vanity) and even spoke sentences in reverse.

Eventually the clone became frustrated at being unwanted by his "brother" and returned to the mirror, hoping to reenter it when lightning struck it again, this time changing him into a complete twin of Vanity with no mirror-reversed actions or speech. Hundredth possibly appears in "The Gambler Smurfs" as the Smurf who wins Brainy Smurf's glasses in gambling. It is hinted that this character exists in the film Smurfs: The Lost Village, as in the end credits, Vanity's reflection comes to life and gives him a kiss on the lips.
