  • Marvin Finch was the younger brother of Aaron Finch. He resided in Glendale, California before and during World War III. After World War II, Aaron had stayed with Marvin and his wife, Sarah, for a time, on what he expected to be a temporary basis. Instead, Aaron had met his future wife, Ruth, fallen in love and married her, and settled down in Glendale himself. As children, the Finches had kept poultry. Aaron Finch had accidentally cut off the last joint of Marvin's right little finger. This article is a stub because the work is part of a larger, as-of-yet incomplete series.

Marvin Finch's home was in the hills of Glendale, and so survived the Soviet atomic bombing of downtown Los Angeles on March 2, 1951. His daughter, Olivia, babysat Aaron's son, Leon, on occasion. In May, Marvin and Sarah hosted a small family get-together. As children, the Finches had kept poultry. Aaron Finch had accidentally cut off the last joint of Marvin's right little finger.
