  • Third Deputy to the Supreme Leader, Michael Patterson was born into a poor family in 1969. Not being party members and lacking resources, Michael joined the Department of Prisons and the Correction of Wrong Thought in 1987. In 1990 he was drafted into the army passing into the volunteer active reserve in 1994. In 2004 he volunteered for and was accepted for active combat service. He served with distinction while with the First Independent Infantry Brigade and was eventually selected to serve with the First Independent Command where his skills were noted by the Supreme Leader.
