  • Elizaveta Mikhailovna Boyarskaya (born 20 December 1985, Leningrad) is a Russian film and stage actress, best known for playing Erna Flegel in the 2004 German film Der Untergang - though her voice was re-dubbed in the German version due to her Russian accent. Elizaveta Boyarskaya was born in Leningrad (today St. Petersburg), on 20 December 1985, in a family of actors, from Mikhail Boyarsky and Larisa Luppian. She also has a brother, Serghei. As a child she showed no acting potential. She graduated from modeling school. She later attended the School of Journalism from St. Petersburg, but later abandoned it after she lost interest in it. After visiting the opening of the school theater "On the Moss", Elizaveta decided to enter the Theatre Institute. As she later recalled, her parents did not dissuade her from this choice. Elizaveta had prepared for months for admission to the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts. She received on course to Leo Dodin Abramovich and the Presidential Scholarship. She graduated SPbGATI in 2007. She also appeared in many TV productions, as well as a few international productions. In 2004 she portrayed Erna Flegel in the 2004 film Downfall. Her first significant role in films was the role of Tanya in the movie "First after God" (2005). She also starred as Ally Surikova in "You do not leave me," where Elizaveta played with her father, Mikhail Boyarskaya. Her popularity brought by Timur Bekmambetov film "Irony of Fate" (2007). On 28 July 2010, Elizaveta married Maksim Matveev, who is also an actor, and they have a child.
