Synopsis
  • Baffled by the sudden rags-to-riches luck of peddler Wally Hacker, the Flash decides to investigate and discovers more than he bargained for.
  • A small-time crook known as the Whistler is arrested after breaking into the home of an elderly couple. After serving two years in jail he is released. He then contacts Spike McConnell and tells him that the house he tried to rob has a secret room, with valuables.
  • Johnny Thunder is discharged from the U.S.Navy.
  • - Spike and Whistler plan to rob the house. They move into the house next door in order to spy on the couple. Fearing their new neighbors, the elderly couple, Jack and Emmy, take in a trio of boarders, the Ghost Patrol.
  • - When Spike and his crew break into the house disguised as ghosts, the noise alerts Jack and Emmy. They also dress up as spirits to scare the crooks. They two groups meet in the treasure room, where Jack and Emmy are revealed to be crooks also. The real ghosts, Fred, Pedro, and Slim then apprehend all the crooks.
