In 40 ABY, the Clawbeak Nebula was used by Reilly Carroll and the fleet of the Metastraten Government-in-Exile as a hiding place while repairs could be undertaken following the Fourth Battle of Shattermoon. It was here that they were ambushed by the fleet of the Free Colony of Metastrato Prime. Both sides suffered heavy losses.
