The mangrove snake (Liophis cobellus) is a small semi-aquatic snake which is found in the Guianas, eastern Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago. It lives in lowland rainforest river floodplains and coastal mangrove swamps where it feeds on frogs, geckos and fish.
