abstract
  • Kest, a scar-faced man, was an inhabitant of Darujhistan, Genabackis, who captained the private bodyguards of the merchant and caravan owner Sirik.
  • Kest was a remote planet located in the Unknown Regions. It was the homeworld of the Near-Human Teshiri species. The planet had numerous landmasses supporting many forms of life mostly populated with the Teshiri species, along with an ocean. The surface of the planet was composed of two continents: one large one and a smaller one on the far side of the planet. In 3,635 BBY, the remnants of the Sith Empire arrived on the planet and settled on one of the smallest continent, Arcesya, they quickly discovered the planet was inhabited by a sentient species, the Teshiri. The Teshiri's governing body, the Narzhita, believed the Sith were an evil army sent by the "Circle of Gods" to punish the Teshiri for centuries of given into the dark heart. After a brief conflict between the remnants and the Narzhita, the Teshiri people gave themselves over to lives of service to the remnant.
