  • If a Mamuta in Pikmin 2 plants Pikmin in the ground, they will become flowered. If the player deliberately does this to all of their Pikmin, they all will become flowered. Although, plucking a large sum of them would take a long time, unless the Player has the Pluckaphone. Using this strategy may force you to use any Purple Pikmin you have to finish off the Mamuta, as it can irritatingly put your Flower Pikmin in the ground. The Tropical Mamuta, because it plants pikmin as buds, can allow more time to pluck pikmin as flowers. A Pluckaphone will render the added time useless, however.
