| abstract | - Quaeven is a wingless Gargoyle living on Terfin. He is the leader of the recreational centre and his name means "problem finder". Quaeven had had a difficult life due to being wingless, leaving him being down upon by the Gargoyle community. This caused him to joined the Fellowship hoping for a better life, and indeed he became happier. However, Betra, the provisioner, felt that the Fellowship had nothing to do with that and this change mostly came from Quaeven himself. When the Avatar met him in Ultima VII, he told the hero about his important responsibilities at the recreational centre. Mentioning the Fellowship, Quaeven told much of his history, and how he was trying to convince Betra to join the Fellowship. He seemed unaware that Betra was mistrustful of the Fellowship and would not join.
