- Mining is one of the three basic tradeskills learned at the begining of the game. The other two being Lumberjacking and Fishing. Mining requires items or abilities to be able to pull ore and precious gems and metals from veins, just a little patients and time. You're able to start mining in the third zone of the Newbie Area as well as serveral other areas after the Newbie Island. You can bind skills to your F keys to make mining easier.
- The first crystal deposit is in Tephra Cave, near the Spring of Grief. The Ether Mine has the most places to mine crystals. Some deposits have more than one spot where crystals can be collected. Others have one mining deposit but will allow crystals to be collected a few times. Deposits which have been exhausted will replenish over time.
- Mining is a gathering skill that levels up as you mine different Metals. As your mining level gets higher you get a higher chance of recieving multiple ores when gathering, and the chance of your File:Mining Pick.gif Mining Pick breaking goes down. Miner Ragrut can be found below the temple in Bawfuria. He tells you the basics about mining and gives you some supplies to get started.

- Mining is a Secondary skill that allows a character to delve into the darkest caves and tunnels to gather different metals that can later be smelted into useful items. This skill includes cutting down trees of various types. These raw materials allow the creation of anything from armor to fishing poles. Mining skill can also be used to locate gems in deposits that jewelers can cut later to make jewelry.
- Ore veins generally replenish their ores after about a month (in-game) if the area is marked as "cleared". Otherwise, it replenishes in 10 days. Some veins (e.g. Ebony) respawn sooner, or later than the one month. Each vein, regardless of ore type, will yield three pieces of ore, and at most two precious gems. In rare cases, some entire mines or locations will not respawn their ores at all.
- One type of mining is called sky mining, which involves the extraction of valuable minerals from outer space. Once Simeon Shamon was involved with such a project, and he mined gold from a space cloud. The planet known as Rimbor is located near a belt of asteroids that is a spot for heavy mining.

- The blessings of the earth are holy gifts from Kilmorph, and it is not only our privilege, but also our sacred duty, to seek these blessings, remove them from their rocky confines, and use them to improve our lives.--Osmand Rockspittle, Mining Supervisor
- Mining is the skill which provides you with different kinds of ores. These ores are useful for the smithing skill. In order to mine, you need to have an appropriate level pickaxe equipped. Higher level pickaxes increase the speed of mining and are also less prone to breaking. Most of the lower levels ores can be mined in multiple sites around Syrnia, however the higher level ores only have one or two sites where they are available. This includes the dangerous Outlands where other players can attack you!
- On some islands in King Roland's kingdom, you can mine on the walls of several natural rock walls with pickaxes lying near them. Each island's mining area can offer different varieties of essences. Mine in a large of variety of islands to gather many different essences!

If you have sufficient skill in or , bring Fire Crystals along to craft the ores into Ingots. You can also take Wind Crystals and Lightning Crystals to desynth the beastmen items.
* Due to an update, characters under level 25 cannot procure items from mining in Mount Zhayolm.
* There are only allowed to be a set number of mining points at one time. If you're in a secluded area and know that there are an abundance of people in another area filled with mining points be patient; they will use up their mining points and the ones near you will spawn.
* In Adoulin areas there is a limit on the number of attempts you can mine, this is called Mining Fatigue, you gain 1 attempt to mine every 1 minute (real time), with a cap of 37 attempts. Mining points are located in the following zones:
- The Mining skill allows you to extract valuable minerals from the earth.
- Mining is a simple activity that is currently the only way to earn Stone File:Stone.png, used to upgrade Fortress buildings and to purchase Mining Upgrades. The mineshaft is composed of 11x10 (110) tiles with randomly assigned resources in them. The tiles are destroyed by using Mining Stamina (clicking) or by Bombs bought for 50 Elixir each. After all the tiles are cleared, the player has a chance to find a Card Pack, the chance is based on the player's total +Item% chance. The energy refills automatically by 1 every 20 minutes but this can be increased via the Mining Regen Infinity Points upgrade and by certain Equipment which is explained below. The energy regeneration timer can be reduced via the Mining Speed Achievements upgrade. The player may also use Bombs to destroy between 2 or 3 tiles per column, and twice that amount for a Critical Hit. It's generally advised to only use Bombs when the mineshaft has just been reset to avoid wasting potential tile clearance. At Mine level 5, you gain access to Mine Row and Instamine! buttons which will use the necessary stamina to mine the top row of tiles or all of your available stamina until the floor is cleared instantly. Each hit is calculated separately, so you won't miss any critical hits or bonus stone.
- The skill cap for mining is based on whichever is higher of your adventure level or tradeskill level.
Vyťaženú rudu možno staviť do ingotov(Smelting).
- Mining in Galaxy on Fire 2 involves the mass extraction of valuable within the asteroids seen in the orbit of every planet.
- Caution: Monsters' elemental/neutral damage is modified by their statistics, which are in majority unknown. Causes the target to take damage each time it is attacked.
- Mining is an early technology in the Civilization games.
- Mining is the core of economy on RF Online. To do this, you must be in the Crag Mining Area, equipping the necessary [Mining Tool]], and having a battery on your bag. There are 5 types of Ore that can be mined for money, that is, the Blue Ore, Red Ore, Yellow Ore, Green Ore, and Black Ore. These five are considered as normal ores which can be recycled by the Ore Processing NPC. Refining the ore can sometimes produce another ore or bonus items (recovery items, talics, gems). There is a special ore that can not be sold to NPCs, this is called "Rare Ore". This kind of ore can only be refined in certain stages by the Ore Processing NPC, which can then be traded for a box at the Gem Collector NPC. If the box is opened, a random type of mining ore (+1, +2, +3, and sometimes even +4) level ore can be obtained along with other possible items (equipment, talics, etc). Since the Episode 2 update, ore has no value when sold to vendors. In order to profit, it has to be purchased by other players on the Auction House. The ore may be processed, but the materials when sold off to vendors usually does not meet the cost of processing the ore. Other items such as gems or talics can be sold in the Auction House (AH) for increased profits.
- Mining is one of the most basic skills in the game. Players will need a Pickaxe in order to start training. Image:Player mining.PNG
- Mining is the process of extracting ore from asteroids in asteroid belts, or ice from ice belts. Each system is populated with asteroid belts, and/or ice belts, (accessible through the in-space right-click menu), and each asteroid belt contains a number of asteroids in a half ring formation or a spherical formation. Mining consists of applying mining laser modules (high power slot turrets) to asteroids. Activating these miners will, over time, fill up a ship's cargo hold with ore. Most mining laser modules cycle after 60 seconds, at which time they will dump the collected ore to the ship's cargo hold. More advanced mining lasers, such as the strip miners or ice harvesters, cycle every three minutes, but yield a greater amount over time.
- Mining allows Greede to be an independent city. Most of the ore mined through mining season is sold, and thus Greede runs. Mining is seasonal, and the mines are accessed by the Demithor docking at the Bunker Lode Ruins. The Nordia tunnels were Balandorian mining tunnels.
- When you have at least 1 Life Skill Point, you can learn Mining. The Life skill book Mining can be bought from the Grocer. The required Pickaxe can be bought from the Blacksmith. To mine you have to locate the ore, which is displayed as an orange dot on the mini-map. Mining areas are listed below. When the Pickaxe is equiped, you can click the ore to start mining. From time to time the ore will drop which you can collect.
- At levels 3 and 4, Novices can gain the herb gathering and mining skills. Mining materials are used in reinforcement and smelting. Below is a list of materials that have been found while herb gathering and mining. This is a list of materials that have been found from top to bottom in most common to least common. Stone Debris Crude Shovel Tin Bronze Eledust Elestone Chipped Elementirium Quartz Also, there's a chance of finding nothing.
- Miners use pickaxes on Veins to get . They can then smelt these ores to obtain plates and gems, which can be used for the Smithing and Accessory Crafting professions. Smithing and Accessory Crafting require Mining to be learned. Miners can mine Heartstones, which give several minerals, gems, plates, and powders. It is Herbalism's counterpart. Cole teaches the Mining profession, and runs secret mines in Ardentmill, which are used for mining ores.
- Mining is a city specialization in SimCity (2013). Mining relies on the presence of underground ores in a city plot. This can be seen at region level, and at city level - using the relative overlay. Not all city plots contain ores, and those that do have differing quantities, so Mining may not be suitable for all cities.
- Mining in frugooscape is much easier and faster than in runescape it provides over double the experience and gets more exp per ore as your level goes up.First place to mine is just north east of slayer. Image:SNAPedit.jpg Code for pickaxe is 1275 (cant use in realm 1)
- Mining is a skill that allows players to dig ores from certain mining spots. There are no requirements for mining high-level ores, but higher levels in mining allow ores to be dug up more quickly. Minable materials include iron, tin, coal, gold, silver, and platinum. Mining platinum is one of the best money-making methods in the game, with players with high mining levels able to make over 40000 trias an hour if the platinum is sold to other players. Normal street price for platinum is just over 1000 trias. Metals can be melted in furnaces and then made into metal stocks, and then made into weapons. Weapons made of better metals can sell for extremely high prices.
- Mining on keräysammatti, jossa kaivetaan malmeja. Jokaisesta malmisuonesta saa 2-4 malminpalasta ja joskus jalokiviä ja moteja. Suurista suonista saa 3-5 malminpalaa.
- Provides several bonuses for digging dungeon walls with a pick axe.
- Mining is a skill that allows players to obtain ores and gems from rocks. With ores, a player can then either smelt bars and make equipment using the Smithing skill or sell them for profit. Mining is also one of the most popular skills in RuneScape as many players try to earn a profit from the skill. On the map, mining areas are identified with a regular pickaxe Image:Miningicon.PNG icon and the mining shop with a gold pickaxe Image:Mining shop icon.png icon. The current minimum to be ranked on the highscores in Mining is 48 Mining and 88,000 experience.
- Buried deep beneath Foxfire Forest is a series of mineral-filled natural caverns. The minerals here have incredible untapped magical power. If you have the right mining tools, you can try Mining one for yourself! Each mining tool has a different percentage that they'll be successful in digging up any minerals and each item has a different percentage that they will break when you go mining. Once you successfully mine a mineral you will have a time out before you can try again.
- How it works... The Mine is located on the northwest side of the main island in a rock wall to eligible leveled players. The Mine has two shafts visible once a player enters the mine. The left shaft unlocks at level 45 and contains parts needed to craft unique dragons . Collect enough of these parts and you can combine them at the Spell Shop to craft the exclusive dragons. The right shaft of the Mine unlocks at level 80. Here, players can play the Mining mini-game to find Island Parts, which are used like Mystic Maps to expand on the brand new island to the northwest of the main island, near the Mine. Unlike the normal islands, this new island is built as you expand. At launch, there are 10 new expansions to be constructed. The tools you need to enter either mine shaft are collected like Dragon Summoning parts, from buildings. At level 45, BombsFile:Mine Bombs.png will start dropping from the evolution temple. BombsFile:Mine Bombs.png let you enter the mine for dragon mining parts. At level 80, DynamiteFile:Mine Dynamite.png will start dropping from the breeding den. DynamiteFile:Mine Dynamite.png lets you enter the mine for Island Blocks. The mine has a max capacity of 25 Bombs and 25 Dynamite. If you are at the max you will no longer receive Bombs or Dynamite until some have been used. The new island works just like the main island, once you've expanded, you can move old buildings or build new ones. The new island has been pre-cleared by elite Caretakers so there's no foliage! File:Mine Island2.png File:Mining Process.jpeg It takes 1 Bomb File:Mine Bombs.png or Dynamite File:Mine Dynamite.png to enter a mine. This gives you 12 moves in the mine. Each tap consumes 1 move. When you make a move, you will receive feedback: Too Far, Near, Very Close depending on your distance to a prize. If you get Very Close, tap around that spot to find your prize. When you're running low on moves, you can exchange Gold for more without leaving your current mining game. Two refills are allowed, and then you have to start a new mining game.
- Mining is a skill that allows you to obtain materials to use in compounding or manufacturing.
- In many cave areas in The Depths you will find nodes of ore which can be mined. You will need a mining hammer in your inventory in order to harvest ore from these nodes, although you do not need to equip it. A number of different NPCs will offer you mining quests which require you to supply them with stated quantities of a given ore type. The initial quest giver will give you your first hammer for free. Your Mining skill determines your success or failure in harvesting a particular node, and each unit of raw ore that you successfully extract has a chance to increase your mining skill. In addition each node you mine also has a chance to produce rare items, gems, and metals such as mithril and adamantine. These are also valuable components for crafting. The more valuable the ore, the the higher the skill required to mine it. At a certain skill level, each ore becomes trivial and mining it will no longer increase your skill:
* Copper requires a minimum skill of 0 and becomes trivial at 30
* Tin requires a minimum skill of 50 and becomes trivial at 150
* Iron requires a minimum skill of 150 and becomes trivial at 250
* Darkstell (Mithril is the rare ore) requires a minimum skill of 250 and becomes trivial at 350
* Admantite (Emberore is the rare ore) requires a minimum skill of 350 and becomes trivial at 500 It is perfectly legitimate to complete mining quests by buying the ore from other player characters or from stores, if it is available. You will gain the normal quest rewards but of course your Mining skill will not improve this way. Similarly, if you wish to mine ore without having a quest open, in order to improve your Mining skill, you can do so: any excess ore can be bartered with other players or sold to stores. Completing mining quests will sometimes reward you with an upgraded mining hammer which will improve your rate of success as a miner. Replacement basic mining hammers can be bought from Hard Hana's store in The Quarters. She also sells a vest giving a strength bonus that allows low-strength characters to carry large amounts of ore.
- In Twelve Sands, there are a few different places to mine. As with all skills, there is a mining skill cap at (your level * 5). Mining is useful primarily to obtain the raw ingredients needed for Crafting. Unlike Fishing, however, there exists a good likelihood you will obtain materials useless for crafting. Mining has a 100% success rate, and you will always get an item for each turn you spend mining. Each time you fish, you gain some experience (xp). The amount gained depends on the object mined. Experience rewards are set forth below. Mining uses 1.2% fatigue per attempt and 0.6% when rested. To mine, you must have a Basic Mining Pick equipped as your weapon.
- Mining is a constitution based skill that affects the character's ability to dig through walls and to find materials at mining sites. After digging through walls, you will occasionally find ores, gold, and (very rarely) small medals. To dig through a wall, stand next to the wall and press D, or z and then 3, and then select the direction you wish to dig. To dig in your own square, press Space, Enter or 5. You will find more gold and better ores in better places. Mining Your Home rewards depending on its rank, while mining dungeons rewards depending on the danger level of the current floor. Towns have a DL of 1--as can be verified by casting Return in wizard mode--so their rewards are minimal. Forts of Chaos have a DL of roughly 25 (the game claims it to be 666, but that isn't true) and reward quite well with very little danger associated, as there are no enemies there as long as you don't walk too far up. An easy way to train mining and constitution is to dig through the walls in any town. This way, you can eat and sleep in the inn, when the need arise. Another easy way to train (and unlimited) is to mine in your house. You can just replace the walls using house board. As your mining skill increases, the turns (and thus, stamina) needed to knock down a wall decreases.
- Mining skill is acquired through practical experience of mining, tunnelling, and excavating. Characters with this skill gain certain advantages when moving about in the underground world. They are able to tunnel using appropriate tools and are capable of constructing supports, floor planking, and bridging and walling where the earth is soft. They should receive a +10% modifier to Construct tests for such tunnels. Once underground, they can recognise most mineral ores, rock types, and gem-bearing rocks. Where valuable minerals or gems occur as part of the natural rock formation, characters with this skill will usually notice them. The gamesmaster can test against Int to determine success. These characters also have a +10 modifier on the normal chance of noticing secret doors and concealed passages in underground complexes. Whilst underground, they can sense changes in direction, ground slope, temperature, and humidity. The gamesmaster can use these traits to help players where appropriate.
- Mining is a skill in RuneScape in which players mine ore with a pickaxe, and is exploited by a mining bot.
- West End was originally a frontier mining town. The Exeter Iron mine was an imperial project that began when Chunks of Iron were found at the base of a small crescent shaped mine at the far western edge of Dimhold. Initial smelting showed the ore to be of good quality, and a delegation led by Sir Gregory Grimwar began immediately. After initial clearing of rock began, and the first loads of ore were brought in, they found a problem. A vein of cobalt had intermingled with the iron, creating an alloy. Current mining techniques did not allow for the smelting of this metal, named "blue iron" or "wolf iron". Dimhold officially abandoned the mine, but as this area had been granted to Sir Gregory, he was allowed to remain in his keep and charged with ownership of the land of the crescent mountain.
- Mining is one of the easiest skills to level up and if it is combined with the Smithing skill, it can be one of the best ways to make money in the game. You can also sell copper ores to Zack's Mining Company for 1 coin each. This can be a good way to get some money as a low level but eventually, he will say you already have filled his order once you mined enough copper ore for him. To mine ore, you need a pickaxe and the appropriate mining level for that type of ore. Then with the pickaxe in your inventory, click on a rock and select the "Mine" option. You will then mine that type of ore until your inventory is full. Lava ore, however, is the hardest ore to mine. The only place Lava ore is located is in the Badlands, where people can kill you, plus you need P2P to access the area. Then, once in the Badlands, head west for the Lava Pit. Once inside, you'll need Lava Boots and armor or you will be easily killed by the high-leveled monsters such as Lava Goats and Lesser and Greater Demons. Once in the Lava Mountain, head down the hole to be dropped into the Lava Pit. There will be 3 Lava rocks accessible to mine, however surrounded by Lava Demons. You can either head south to exit, without mining. If you do mine Lava ore, you will drop down, once again, to another level where the only way out is south of the screen. Once you head south, you will end up near the southern part Lava Mountain that is guarded by one Lava Demon. From there, you're free to leave the Badlands with your newly acquired Lava ore.
- The following ore can be mined. Depending on your mining level, you can mine certain ore.
- Mining is a skill in RuneScape Classic that allows players to mine rocks and obtain various ores and minerals. Ores can be smelted into bars and then forged into armour and weapons.
- Exploring, developing, and producing minerals. Examples include coal strip mines, alluvial gold panning, diamond mines, rock quarries, sand and salt mines, coralm or deep sea nodules. Note that deforestation caused by stip mining may fall under this category or in 'Logging', depending upon the primary driver. (CMP)
- Mining is a skill that allows players to extract ores and essence from concentrates located in rocks. This skill is commonly accepted as one of the most hardest skills to gain level 99 in. Ores can then be smelted into bars that are required to make weapons, armours, etc. Throughout Soulsplit, many mines can be found and ores can be mined using a pickaxe. As every other skills, the Mining skill requires an approximate 13 million experience to reach the highest level, 99.

- Mining is the process of extracting materials, usually minerals, from a body such as a planet or asteroid. Janus VI was the location of a major Federation mining outpost, it was first colonized by Humans in the 2210s. In 2267 contact was made with the native Horta, expert miners by nature, after a rocky first contact the two groups learnt about each other and formed a mining alliance, making Janus one of the most productive and profitable operations in the know galaxy, sourcing raw ore and rare elements to the entire Federation. (TOS episode: "The Devil in the Dark"; DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky) In 2267, Commander Krell reassured his men they would look back on the sedate world of Neural with pride from palaces once they had conquered it and mined its rich mineral wealth to the core. (TOS comic: "The Order of Things") The planet Konnoria V was notable for the brutality of its dilithium mines. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky) Cardassians only typically mined on class M worlds, as it is not as cost effective to maintain operations in other non-native environments. Cardassian mining operations included the Xoxa colony and perhaps most famously Bajor, which they intensively mined during their occupation of the planet. The Cardassian operations left Bajor stripped of its resources and its own mining industry devastated. In 2370, in an attempt to revitalise Bajoran mining, a group of Bajoran private investors, in conjunction with the Federation, arranged for a family of Horta to be transported to the planet, in the hope their expert mining instincts would find deposits of minerals and ore the Cardassians missed or deemed too difficult to extract. En route to Bajor the ship carrying the Horta was attacked by a Cardassian vessel which kidnapped the adult Horta. The Horta’s eggs arrived safely at Deep Space 9 but she was unaware of this and the Cardassians claimed they would damage her eggs unless she worked for them in a mine on the moon of Davonia. A rescue team soon retrieved the Horta and a group of fifty Bajoran slave labourers the Cardassians had working in their mines. However the Bajoran government, unaware of the private arrangement, refused to allow the Horta to settle of Bajor under ecological grounds. Instead the family settled on the Bajoran moon Baraddo where they discovered valuable deposits of uranium, pergium and latinum. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
- Mining (Intelligence) A good miner must have more than knowledge of the earth and its ores, it was needed information about shoring up weak walls, where and how certain ores travel through the ground, and the ability to recognize unworked metals with only a few simple tests. This is considered a Merchant Skill.
- Like Estates, Mining does not produce resources when the hero is inside a town.
- To mine, players need a pickaxe (the better the pickaxe and Mining level the quicker it is to mine the ores) that they have the required Mining level to mine with. Players should then choose where to mine, taking into consideration the proximity to a bank, and what ores are available. Players only need to left-click once on any rock containing ore to mine it (provided they have the level needed for that ore type). The obtained ores, gems, and essence can then be sold for profit, or used by the player for the Smithing, Crafting and Runecrafting skills. Most types of ores can be determined by simply examining the rock. Experienced miners did not need to prospect every rock, as they recognised the colour of the rock and knew the ore it contained. However, an update made it so that simply hovering one's cursor over the rock would tell the player what ore was to be found in it, in the upper-left corner (though some rocks, like certain mineral veins, still have the "Prospect" option).

- Mining allows you to find and mine minerals, ores, and stones from resource nodes scattered throughout the world. It is one of the primary professions. Materials from mining and the items miners can create from them are reagents needed for recipes within other professions. The Burning Crusade expansion contains several mobs that are capable of being mined. More information can be found on WoWWiki. http://www.wowwiki.com/Mining
- Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth from an orebody, lode, vein, seam, or reef, which forms the mineralized package of economic interest to the miner. Ores recovered by mining include metals, coal, oil shale, gemstones, limestone, dimension stone, rock salt, potash, gravel, and clay. Mining is required to obtain any material that cannot be grown through agricultural processes, or created artificially in a laboratory or factory. Mining in a wider sense includes extraction of any non-renewable resource such as petroleum, natural gas, or even water. Mining of stones and metal has been done since pre-historic times. Modern mining processes involve prospecting for ore bodies, analysis of the profit potential of a proposed mine, extraction of the desired materials, and final reclamation of the land after the mine is closed. The nature of mining processes creates a potential negative impact on the environment both during the mining operations and for years after the mine is closed. This impact has led most of the world's nations to adopt regulations designed to moderate the negative effects of mining operations. Safety has long been a concern as well, and modern practices have improved safety in mines significantly.
- With this basic Resourcefulness Mining skill, you mine ore. To mine ore you need a Mining Hammer. After a successful combat, a Mining Hammer icon will appear at the bottom of the screen. Clicking the icon will initiate the Mining minigame: one giant boulder slowly meanders around the screen, and you must hit the spacebar repeatedly to throw the hammer at the boulder. The boulder will break into progressively smaller rocks, or break into more rocks. Once all the rocks are removed from the screen, you obtain an ore. With higher Mining skill and higher zone level, you can get better ores. Three of the same type of ore can be made into Geodes using a Stone Saw, also possibly raising your Mining skill. Alternatively three of the same type of ores can be used in conjunction with one piece of raw Wood (not processed planks!), a forge (available in every Armory), and Flameworking skill to make an ingot.
- Mining is a gathering skill used to mine iron and steel for Petcrafting and Guardian Forging.
