  • Wyrms are a primitive Dragon species that instead of the usual fire-breathing, breathes and oozes energy. They lack wings but make up for it with raw strength, greatly surpassing the regular Dragons with their abilities. A typical appearance of a Wyrm includes a slim, serpentine body and a large head. Wyrms prefer stony or dusty areas as their habitat. Note that despite being energy-based, Wyrms are most prominently weak to Ice - just like regular Dragons.
  • Wyrms are an ancient race of dragons that were much more powerful than any known dragon in RuneScape. Capable of destroying cities and armies on its own. They slowly became extinct due to their heavy use in the God Wars. They currently have no use in the game and cannot be found in OldSchool RuneScape.
  • Wyrms were creatures that appear in The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II under the control of the Goblin and the Mordor faction.
  • Wyrms were massive serpentine beasts that resembled ryu or orochi. They existed outside of Rokugan and were commonly used as flying mounts by Yobanjin chieftains.

  • Wyrms are ancient creatures that were similar to the dragons of today, but went extinct several thousand years ago due to heavy involvement in the God Wars. Wyrms were far stronger than dragons, as a single wyrm was capable of destroying massive cities and wiping out entire armies, making them invaluable assets to those able to tame them. There is at least one living wyrm on Gielinor – the abyssal wyrm, found in Botany Bay.

When telling the story of the Tears of Guthix, the Guardian of Guthix Juna provides the only mention of these creatures: "The colossal Wyrms, of whom today's dragons are a pale reflection, turned all the sky to fire, while on the ground armies of foot soldiers, goblins and trolls and humans, filled the valleys and plains with blood".
