  • The Elan were a nomadic tribal people from Kolanse. They kept myrid and rodara and also hunted wild beasts. In tribal disputes, they would go as far as to poison those beasts and destroy crossings to spite their enemy. This eventually led to the wild herds vanishing and the land drying up which left them vulnerable. The Elan were subsequently destroyed by the Adjudicators. Kalyth, destriant of the K'Chain Che'Malle was the last surviving member of this tribe.

Just as each Delkavir or Ilakavir personifies concepts or principles, the more a person draws close to the ideas an individual Delkavir or Ilakavir incarnates, the higher the synchronicity level that can be achieved. The reason for this is that as an individual’s essence gains a closer connection to these entities, he benefits from a miniscule part of their powers and abilities. Delkavir and Ilakavir may endow Elan on individuals on account of personal sympathy or the individual’s ability to achieve communion with his or her ideas. A character’s actions may cause his or her Elan to increase or decrease, and with it the Abilities, Advantages, and Disadvantages associated with it. Usually, the easiest way to obtain Elan is to become a priest or agent of the great powers; however, it is also possible for individuals to come to their attention without worshipping them or even being aware of their existence. In those cases, people are in unconscious synchronicity with a Delkavir or Ilakavir, ignoring the source of the Supernatural Abilities granted.

Mianowicie nowo nabyte moce psioniczne tak pobudzają przystosowane do nich ciało, że może ono żyć w nieskończoność, o ile nie zostanie zniszczone oczywiście. Nie potrzebny także jest sen, wystarczy kilkugodzinna medytacja w trakcie której podświadome psioniczne moce powoli regenerują ciało oraz porządkują myśli przywracając świeżość i jasność umysłu, w czym podobni są do elfów. Podświadome, bez jakiegokolwiek przeszkolenia, umiejętności psioniczne mogą wykorzystane jeszcze na kilka sposobów. Po pierwsze elanie mogą wzmacniać swoje ciała tak aby łatwiej unikać obrażeń w walce, a jeśli już takie obrażenia odniosą, to mogą je na bieżąco zasklepiać. Dodatkowo przy pewnej dozie skupienia potrafią podtrzymywać sprawne ciało bez jadła i wody. Enklawy elan znajdują się zawsze blisko ludzkich siedzib, tak by mieć wygodny dostęp do ewentualnych kandydatów.
