Sometime after, Bertram and New Brian continued to reek havoc in Townsville, and, as always, KNS and the Torrentuff Animals defeated them. After the battle for the Corona Aurora, Bertram and New Brian confronted Brian and Vinny (who then became real dogs) for one last battle. However, the Griffin dogs Miracle Fused into KNS and defeated both of them. But Bertram wasn't done. He confronted Stu with a gun before New Brian shot Bertram into a state of unconsciousness and Lelouch vi Britannia Geassed him. After asking for forgiveness and reformation, he became an ally for the Torrentuff Animals, and has proven himself brave, truthful and unselfish enough to do ten good deeds before once again becoming a real dog. However, while doing the tenth deed (which was help KNS defeat one of Queen Beryl's monsters), he lost his red bandana in the process, and Princess Celestia presented him with a new green Italian collar, like the black one Vinny wore, to replace the bandana while turning him into a real dog. Since then, he has earned Brian and Vinny's trust, and has become a good friend to both the dogs.
