- "Stones" is a prevalent and well-known song that appears throughout the Ultima series. In the games, the song is quite popular in Britannia and a favorite of Lord British. Iolo FitzOwen, a renowned bard and close friend of the king, composed the music; his wife Gwenno wrote the lyrics. In reality, the song was written by David R. Watson and Kathleen Jones, the real world counterparts of Iolo and Gwenno.
- Stones are found in small piles in Pikmin and Pikmin 2. Their use is exactly the same as that of the Nectar Weed. Pikmin begin to dig at the stones as they pass over it or are directed to it by the Captain. Stones sometimes produce Nectar as Pikmin destroy it. As with the Nectar Weed, stones are found in every area in Pikmin, and only in overworld locations such as the Perplexing Pool and Wistful Wild in Pikmin 2.

- To obtain these stones, players have to knock the Yeti out first. Players may do this by shouting into a pipe in the last room of the Yeti Cave. Once obtained, one would leave the cave gone to during the quest Myths of the White Lands, and then it is enchanted by three Snow Imps to become Enchanted stones. They have no uses outside the quest.
- "Stones" is the eleventh episode of Stargate Infinity.
- Stones are a primitive Thrown Weapon that does little damage. They are used by only the weakest units in the game, namely farmers, looters, and Vaegir Recruits. As this weapon delivers Blunt damage, it will cause the enemy to be knocked unconscious. Stones are considerably useful in the very early stages of the game for those without crossbows or bows; the almost costless acquisition paired with the ability to knock enemies unconscious to sell to Ransom Brokers makes them an ideal utility and back-up weapon in the first few in-game weeks. ==See Also==__NOEDITSECTION__
- All stones fall into three kinds, resting on the way they are formed: Siltborn stone is made from bits of dead lifestuff such as shells, and from bits of other stones, be it earth, sand, silt, or pebbles. These are clouted together by sweerdom and squeezing to make new rock. Siltmade stone can too be made from andworks that rain out of still water (such as ironstones and limestones). Squeezeborn stone is made when other stone is shoved and clouted under great heat and head at great depth, but not so much that it melts. These stones are given new ores and frameworks by these outworkings.
- The stone, is a powerful modern weaponry, rapidly replacing the nuclear weapons as the most powerful weapon ever. Previously used by the Jamaican people to create the Jamaican Empire, which spanned entire galaxies. The leader of the Jamaicans, Fergilicious, once said, referring to his stone army, "Our stones are so powerful, that my penis is smaller than you!". The Stones are a delicate weapon to handle with, due to the difficulties in disarming them. The USA alone have enough Stones to destroy half the world.

- Stones is a two-player game featured prominently in the Wheel of Time universe. It seems to be played much like Go, where each player is assigned one of two colors of army. Each player alternates placing a stone on the board with the intention being to capture the stones of the opponent's army. Stones is popular in all countries in the Westlands as well as overseas in the Seanchan empire meaning that it must at least pre-date Artur Hawkwing. - Stones is a comic that appeared in Star Wars Tales 13 and was collected in Star Wars Tales Volume 4 and Star Wars Legends Epic Collection: Rise of the Sith Volume 1.
Fireborn stone is made from liquid stonedough (English: Magma or Lava) which comes from deep in the Earth and becomes new stone as it cools. Unsame stonedoughs are made by unsame forworks, and will make unsame fireborn stone. Squeezeborn stone is made when other stone is shoved and clouted under great heat and head at great depth, but not so much that it melts. These stones are given new ores and frameworks by these outworkings.
- Stones are accessories that are imbued with elemental protective power. They are named after their respective Dragoons with the same element. They have the power to halve the elemental damage (magic) dealt by enemies which has the same element as the stone. Stones is only obtainable one-time throughout the whole game and cannot be found again once it is discarded. Although it looks more perfect for the characters to equip the stones with the same type of element (e.g, Silver Stone for Shana), it is recommended that the characters with the opposing element (e.g. Rose) equip stones so that it will be effective in battle.
Be'lal is said to have bragged to have once beaten Lews Therin. In the introduction to The Path of Daggers, Moridin remembers that its original name from before the Breaking was no'ri, and that it is in a similar class of games to tcheran and sha'rah, which he prefers due to its more complicated nature. It is considered a gentleman's game, like chess, and is valued by both generals and rulers. It was said that all of the intrigues and all of lifes pleasures was found in this game
- To the tune of Stars from Les Miserables There! Out with the monsters! An xp group running Looking in corpses Looking through bones! Gods, be my witness! This will takes years Till I get all my stones Till I get all my stones! You have to search every mob Show them the Way of the Sword And if you're lucky and clever You'll get your reward! And here comes Yet another mob! Oh look! A stone! Stones! In your multitudes! Scarce to be counted Filling my backpack With ponderous weight! Will this quest never end? I bet it takes Fifteen years at this rate! Fifteen years at this rate! You know that you're hard to find, You know you drive us insane! Everytime someone tries you Your order is never the same! And there falls Yet another mob! Oh look! A stone! And so it must be For it is written In the dil code of olden times, That those who have patience And those who that plan, Shall earn their prize! Ugh, let me find some So that I may try some Advance one more I will never rest! Til then this I swear! I swear I'll get more stones!
- "Stones" is the eleventh episode of Stargate Infinity.
Also, a rapidly advancing new technology is the ICBS, Inter-Continental Ballistic Stones. It is famous for the recent ICBS tests going on in North Korea, which is the called the NK Stone Crisis. Another famous Stone crisis is the Cuban Stone crisis, which could have led to a Stone War, inevitably leading to a Stone Winter. The Stones are a delicate weapon to handle with, due to the difficulties in disarming them. The USA alone have enough Stones to destroy half the world. The Terracotta army, previously thought to be random pot soldiers standing around, actually turned out to be a Stone Army relic, from the times of the Jamaican Empire. The Chinese are researching ways to reawaken this army and conquer the world and then destroy it, as a sacrifice to the great god, Fergilicious. Amen to that. Oh and apparently according to Albert Einstein, World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones. So start collecting sticks and stones for your country NOW. YOUR KING WANTS YOU.
