Upon enterting through the Dark Portal, he followed the warsong clan on their blody rampages. Untill one day his entire unit was wiped out in a horiffic battle. He was one of four orcs who survived the attack. The four orcs traveled over the Eastern Kingdom, striking at human villiges where they could. One by one the fearsome warriors died in battl, untill Ghorak was the last one left. The second war started and Ghorak met a warband of orcs who called themselves the Shatterfang Clan. Ghorak joined them in search of a glorious death. But death did not come. At least, not for Ghorak...

Ghorak joined them in search of a glorious death. But death did not come. At least, not for Ghorak... He lived with the Shatterfang and took a mate named Shala. Together they had a son, named Grak. Grak became a great warrior himself, and joined the wolves at a very young age. By the time the third war came, they joined the Warsong clan who made their retreat to Kalimdor. Thier ship was taken by the malstrom. Ghorak awoke on the beach of Durotar once again alone. He joined the warsong clan and fought at mount Hyjal. His son found him and together they joined the warsong outriders. Ghorak retired and his son went to Outland when the portal was reopened. Grak died in Outland and Ghorak was furious. He insisted to return to the Wolfriders, but he was denied. Two years later, Vorosha of the Shatterfang shows up at his door and offers him another chance at war. Ghorak joined the shatterfang once more.
