He is simply a cameo appearance in the show. 2012 cartoon - the Kraang are a race of alien invaders who try to take over the Earth. In this show their minds are all connected, with them being led by two leaders: Kraang Prime and Kraang Sub-Prime. They often utilize android bodies (some of which are human disguises) and often speak in an over-elaborate manner, addressing themselves as Kraang. 2016 film - Krang enlists the Shredder to find components of a machine to bring his warship to Earth. Shredder agrees to ally himself with Krang to take over and rule the world, but Krang betrays him and locks him in a cell aboard his ship. The Turtles fight him to stop his ship assembling.
