  • Ordered by Al Mualim to hunt down and assassinate a man in Acre, once Altaïr arrived, he blended into the crowd, following a strongly-built man with a green cloak. Trailing him, Altaïr swung from ledge to ledge, and made his way onto the rooftops in an effort to keep a closer eye on his target. However, his target soon noticed the Assassin's presence, and the green-cloaked man kept his guard up and proceeded to look at some oranges on a nearby market stall, while Altaïr continued to wait on a rooftop for the right time to strike. Suddenly however, the man startled Altaïr, by appearing behind him on the rooftop, having rushed up some stairs while out of the Assassin's sight.

Making his presence known, he then tried to insult Altaïr by referring to him as "one of Al Mualim's pups". From there, the two engaged in battle, but fast as Altaïr was, the man held his ground and managed to dodge any attack the Assassin made with his multiple weapons. Whilst fighting, the man goaded Altaïr about Al Mualim's intentions, claiming he would slowly take away Altaïr's freedom, and eventually kill him once he felt the need. Altaïr then found himself in the midst of a headlock, but soon caught an opening in the man's position and elbowed him in the face. With his target being dazed from his attack, Altaïr backed away while the man recovered, and proceeded to attempt an air assassination with his Hidden Blade. However, before he could do so, the man countered his move and punched Altaïr under the chin, sending him back to the ground. Pulling him up, the man told Altaïr that Al Mualim did not care for his Assassins, and tried to torment him by telling him that his master could always father more, for the man thought that he could see Al Mualim's face in Altaïr's. Altaïr, frustrated and confused, made his final strike by headbutting the man in the nose which he had elbowed earlier and impaled his stomach with the Hidden Blade. Afterwards, Altaïr slid his hand over the dead man's face, closing his eyes, while the words of the conversation between Al Mualim and Altaïr at Masyaf showed. After finishing his mission, Al Mualim asked the Assassin if his target had said anything unusual, but Altaïr simply responded that what he had to offer was "nothing of consequence", with the Mentor of the Levantine Assassins replying that the target had always been "a teller of tales".
