  • Ted de Corsia

  • At first glance it seems odd that, having first played Natz, the agent who acquires Hymie the Robot for KAOS, de Corsia would be recalled to commission the building of the even more powerful robot Groppo to destroy him only to be disguised with a mustache and foreign accent and now be named Spinoza. (Robot creator Dr. Ratton is played by Jim Boles in both episodes.) It is speculated that the creation of a new character for the second installment instead of simply having Natz return was a last minute change necessitated by the opening scene in which Max infiltrates the KAOS meeting: Natz would have recognized him but Spinoza doesn't know him.
