  • Rabies is an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Sandy gets rabies!
  • Rabies is a Druid skill in Diablo II.
  • Rabies is one of the most fatal diseases with only a few people surviving it without any vaccines. As of now, rabies is curable with a 4-shot vaccine. When it is introduced into the body and is untreated, the virus travels via nerves and the spinal cord to the brain. The virus multiplies rapidly once it reaches the brain, and causes flu-like symptoms which then progress to later stages of furious or paralytic rabies. Rabies is almost always fatal once symptoms appear. Globally, domestic dogs are the most common carrier of rabies, but in the United States it is very rare for a dog to carry the virus due to vaccination programs. In the US almost all rabies cases are found in wild animals such as bats, raccoons, skunks, and foxes. It is very rare for rodents to carry rabies.
  • Rabies er en sykdom. Man blir gal og står under en dusj og danser samba. Man får masse spyttrundt munnen. Man blir agressiv. Man får rabies ved at en hund kommer og biter seg så hardt at du blør. Rabies minner mitenklig om epilepsi.
  • Rabies was a disease from Earth, usually seen in mammals. It caused encephalitis and frothing in the mouth. Whilst in an alternate London, Ace encountered a pack of rabies infected dogs and used a Nitro-9 smart bomb variant to destroy the dogs. (PROSE: Blood Heat) Some historians thought Edgar Allan Poe had died from rabies. (PROSE: The Algebra of Ice) In the England of the 19th century, Peri Brown was afraid to take rabies from a barking dog and she guessed the Time Lords were immune to it. (TV: The Mark of the Rani)
  • WILDCARD BITCHES. Has a really thin TV, which speaks volumes about him as a person. REAL DEAL Pure fucking try hard. Boring as fuck.
  • Rabies is a contagious viral disease transmitted from the bite of an infected animal. Animals that are known to pass the disease to humans are dogs, cats, bats, rats and raccoons. The virus is found within the saliva of an infected animal and any bite that breaks the skin will result in infection as the virus, although very slow to act, is very virulent within a host. However, the disease can only be transmitted in this way and casual transmission is impossible. Animal corpse handlers in India have been known to become infected from handling infected carcasses, and cave explorers have been infected by passing through caves whose air had a great concentration of bat saliva droplets.
  • Rabies is a virus that affects the nervous system and is always fatal. There is no known cure. Symptoms include behavior change, difficulty swallowing, excessive salivation, depression, eventual stupor and hind limb paralysis. the disease is spread through the saliva of infected animals and can be transmitted through a bite or an open wound. Vaccinated pets exposed to rabies should be re-vaccinated and observed for 90 days. un-vaccinated pets exposed to rabies should be isolated for 6 months.
  • Originally, the term implied body lice, but over time this became generalized to any sort of lice, including head lice. The term then evolved into a purely imaginary stand-in for just about anything that is considered repulsive. Although the origin is not explicitly known, it has been speculated that the imaginary disease was conceived in referring to how rabies (meaning body lice) can be spread through physical contact with the infested body region. This theory could explain how children developed the idea that rabies can only be spread to the opposite sex. Rabies started out as something the girls had, but was quickly associated with boys too. Rabies can also be used as a verb, as in "Don't touch that book! It was rabiesed by a girl!"

Rabies vaccination is an essential part of a preventive cat health care programme and many communities have laws requiring the vaccination of pets against rabies.
Rabies slowly attacks nerve and brain cells, gradually destroying them and leading to seizures, dementia, paranoia aggression and insensitivity to pain. Ironically, this makes animals with the disease far more aggressive than normal, and less likely to back down from a confrontation with other animals, making it more likely that they will pass the infection to other animals, and to humans. One clear sign of infection is hydrophobia - the body's tissues start to reject fluids, resulting in the "foaming at the mouth" that is a key indicator of the disease. Vaccination against rabies is fairly straightforward as injection with dead virus will build the antibodies the body will need in the event a live infection arises. In addition, patients can be successfully vaccinated after infection as the dead virus will give rise to antibodies far more quickly than the live virus will. However, once the virus is far enough along to cause symptoms in an infected person, the disease is untreatable and will eventually result in the patient's death.

Rabies can also be used as a verb, as in "Don't touch that book! It was rabiesed by a girl!" In some areas, boys are thought to be immune from catching rabies from another boy, and likewise for girls: so as a result rabies can only be spread by contact between the sexes. However, once infected with the rabies of the opposite sex, those rabies can be spread to members of the same sex. Ex. Ian catches "girl rabies" from Ji Min, so Tom should avoid Ian lest he catch Ian's "girl rabies."
