In the map Subconscious, Insecurity Bots are called Very Insecure Bots and have a different model and skin. They will wear a helmet which prevents critical hits until shot off, but otherwise behave in exactly the same way.

| Strategy | - Insecurity Bots are standard enemies who attack primarily with guns and occasional glowing blue grenades. They are not difficult individually but can pose a threat when attacking in force.
During the mission Enter the Claptrap, the first group of Insecurity Bots encountered will be friendly, and assist the Vault Hunters against some attacking bugs, but all Insecurity Bots encountered after that mission will be hostile.
