  • Alan Pattison (born 18th June 1967 in Stockport) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as a Used Car Salesman in November 1990; and he returned to the programme in June 1999 as the Father of a girl whose teddy bear Rosie Webster threw into a park pond. Educated at Burnage High School and the Shena Simon 6th Form College in Manchester, He auditioned for RADA in 1985. After graduating he found work with the Library Theatre Company, and The Royal Exchange Theatre in the world premiere of The Odd Women. In 1990 he was asked to direct a touring production of In Camera and has directed many productions throughout the UK and London. In 1993, he was invited to teach at the recently opened Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. For the past few years he has been involved in the writing and production of a number of horror film projects, including the feature film Salvage (as co-creator and Associate Producer). This was made as part of the Liverpool City of Culture celebrations and was famously filmed on the old set of Brookside. In the spring of 2012 he was invited to the Liverpool Theatre School to direct a graduate production of the musical Just So. This led to his appointment as Acting Tutor at the school, where he teaches the Stanislavski System to first and second year students. Other on-screen credits include roles in Screen Two, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes and The Bill.
