Two classes were known to share this nomenclature: the D7-class battle cruiser, and the D'deridex-class Warbird. (TAS: "The Survivor"; TNG: "Contagion" ) In 2364, a contingent of seven Romulan battle cruisers converged on a Federation border outpost. While the outpost called for reinforcements from the nearby USS Berlin and USS Enterprise-D, the encounter ended without incident. (TNG: "Angel One" ) It is unclear which of the , if any, of the above vessels belonged to, as they remained unseen in the aforementioned reference.
